WMU Football To Scrap Spring Game Will Hold Open Practice
As most college football programs hold their annual spring games, Western Michigan has decided to change their game to an open spring practice for 2018.
According to the story at M-Live, Bronco football will scrap their annual spring game and will instead hold an open practice for the public on Saturday, March 31st.
The practice will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Waldo Stadium if the weather is good. If the weather is an issue they will move it into the Seelye Center.
The team is set to announce where the practice will be by March 28th. If it has to be inside, due to limited seating the practice will be limited to athletes families and donors for the Gary Fund.
Fans will get a chance to get another look at the team as part of Fan Fest which will be at Waldo Stadium on August 11th.
The Broncos are coming off their first season with coach Tim Lester and finished 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the Mid American Conference.
The 2018 season will begin for the Broncos on August 31st at Waldo Stadium against Syracuse.
