The WMU Football Broncos are headed back to Dallas for a post season bowl game. While it's not the Cotton Bowl game, as the played in 2017, it is one of the last bowl games of the season, December 30th and will be on ESPN.
While Friday night's Bronco hockey game vs. North Dakota was a nail-biting scoreless thriller going into overtime, Saturday night's game was anywhere close to that, as the Broncos came out and got whupped by the No. 3 team in the country.
If anyone ever tells you a hockey game with only one goal isn't exciting, just point them to the match played between visiting No. 3 ranked North Dakota and No. 17 Western Michigan Friday night at Lawson Ice Arena.
Don't be surprised to see more than the usual number of commercial vehicles pulled over by cops on I-94 in the coming week. Michigan is part of a multi-state effort to ticket commercial vehicle violators during the week of Dec. 9th-13th.
Here's just a hunch, but productivity tomorrow afternoon, may be even lower than normal. Bell's annual Eccentric Day is set for Friday (December 6th). And afternoon may be a bit conservative as festivities get underway at 9am and going well into the evening.
