An update on the CMU Student who was struck by a car and killed.

17-year-old Ryan Tsatsos was struck by a vehicle while walking with friends on CMU campus and died from his injuries.  I'm just learning that he died saving a woman who was in the direct path of the oncoming vehicle by pushing her out of the way.  His mother lost him AND his 19-year-old brother, Darryl, in a matter of three months.  Darryl also died in a car crash.  I cannot imagine the amount of pain their family is going through but I have them in my thoughts and prayers.

Ryan's funeral will be this Friday, November 6th from 9 a.m. until a 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Road, in Utica.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the driver of the vehicle responsible. Crime Stoppers can be reached at 800-422-JAIL (5245).  If you have any information about this crash or the driver and vehicle involved, please call the Michigan State Police Mount Pleasant Post at (989) 773-5951 or the anonymous tip line at (877) 616-4677.
