I had no idea that Michigan even had an official taco festival, I thought that was just every Tuesday. It turns out there is and it's gonna be insane! Now for us in West Michigan, it's a bit of a drive for this 3-day festival, but totally worth it. It just so happens to be taking place about 15 minutes from my hometown the weekend I'm going back, so you know I gotta dabble in the tacos. The Annual Taco Fest will be held at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion.

There is a meager $5 entry fee to get into this amazing festival which includes TACO’S , strolling Mariachi bands, eating contests (taco / hot pepper), salsa lessons, burrito rolling contest, cutest chihuahua contest, Lucha Libre wrestling, mechanical bull challenge, monster truck rides, lawn games and family fun. Patrons will enjoy live music, dishes from 15 plus food vendors, a Kids Zone, and more. Veterans & active-duty members with military ID get in FREE all weekend, as well as children under 12 years of age. There are so many amazing details you gotta check out here.
