You've heard his song all over TikTok and on radio stations around the country.

KBeaZy, was known as Keegan Bach to friends at Portage Northern High School where he graduated in 2019.  According to Genius.com, he's now living large in the Hollywood Hills producing beats for artists like 24kGoldin, Kehlani, Fetty Wap just to name a few.  He even worked with Juice WRLD before he passed last year on "Day One" and "Make it Work."

The smash hit "Mood" by 24kGoldn ft. iann dior has been played over 66 million times.  The catchy beat that begins with a simple guitar riff was created by a 19-year-old Kalamazoo native that goes by the name KBeaZy.

After spending 10 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, "Mood" hit the top spot for one week.  This KBeaZy production is still going strong at #3 on the chart.

KBeaZy got his start making beats and sending them to any artist that would use them.  There's a really good article featuring an interview with KBeaZy written by Portage Northern senior Liam Fagan that you can check out by clicking here.

You can find lots of videos of KBeaZy creating beats live on his YouTube page which has really grown in popularity of the last couple of years.  Below is a video of Keegan creating a beat as VILLAGE freestyles.  Warning: adult language.
