WMU, Consumers To Cut Ribbon On First On-Campus Solar Power Plant

Western Michigan University and Consumers Power will cut the ribbon on Friday, (Sept. 16th) on the state of Michigan's first on-campus solar power plant.

The ribbon cutting will be at 12:30 at the facility on the Parkview campus, preceded by remarks starting at 11:30am, in the Parkview Room at  Floyd Hall. Those speaking will be Consumers Energy President and CEO Patti Poppe, WMU President John M. Dunn and Michigan Public Service Commission Member Rachael Eubanks.
