Dwayne Johnson’s Rampage, based on the video game about monster-sized animals that terrorize a city, is currently filming, and The Rock really, really wants us all to be excited about that. He’s been posting photos from the set for the past few weeks, and his latest comes with one caveat: Don’t you dare tell The Rock that he runs like Tom Cruise.

Because this is a disaster movie involving oversized beasts, there’s going to be a lot of green-screen. Johnson’s latest snap from the set shows him sprinting for his life through debris, dust, and an army Humvee. One of the producers made the mistake of comparing The Rock’s “forward lean” to that of a certain Mission: Impossible star, and Johnson immediately had to take the opportunity to educate us all.

Cruise runs like 6 o'clock. Straight up and down, arms tight to the body like an offensive player running for the end zone.
This is the run of a defensive headhunter. Forward lean, stride long, arms open and pumping. Intense eyes fixated on the target which my warrior ancestors lovingly referred to as your head.

I feel you on that tequila and waffles craving, bud.

For those of you who can’t wait to see The People’s Forward Lean in action, here’s the synopsis of the plot in Johnson’s own words:

I head up an anti poaching unit out of Rwanda. My best friend is a rare albino gorilla named, George. Very bad people infect George, an alligator and a wolf with a serum. All three animals grow at an unprecedented rate. Their size, speed, agility and violent aggression is off the charts. They go on a deadly rampage and want to destroy the world. George not happy. Me not happy. When animals like you, they lick you. When they don't like you, they kill you. I will hunt down the bad people who did this to my best friend. And when I find them, I will not lick them.

Rampage hits theaters April 20, 2018.
