Photos of a Michigan Church Vandalized by a Squirrel

The amount of damage this little guy did to the inside of this church is surprising to say the least.

I love all animals.  Specially squirrels.  They are so dang cute even when they're being mischievous.  This little cutie was very, very busy when it broke into the Ste. Anne's Church on Mackinac Island a couple months ago.  There's no way to know for sure if this fuzzy tennis ball had something against the Catholic Church or if it was just being a squirrel.  But he dug up a couple plants sitting near a window and knocked down a cross which lead to a Jesus statue breaking into a bunch of pieces.  The little treerat even chewed on the window sill.  Probably an attempt to escape.  You can see the damage in the photos posted by Ste. They were able to sand out the damage on the window sill, replant the plants and believe it or not put the Jesus statue back together.  All of this just in time for Easter.  Would this be considered a Miracle?  We'll leave that up to Tom Hanks to decide in an upcoming movie called, "The Da Critter Code."

By the way, the nut bandit was just hanging out on the piano when the damage was found.  He was safely escorted out and all is well in the animal kingdom and the church.
