We know we grew up with the best music; 80s movies were memorable too. See Sixteen Candles on the big screen and engage in a conversation with star Anthony Michael Hall.

Anthony Michael Hall got his start as a kid in television commercials and you might remember seeing him as Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon's Vacation. That was where he caught the eye of director John Hughes, who cast Hall in three of his beloved 80s movies: Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science. The star will be in Grand Rapids for a special screening of Sixteen Candles with a VIP meet and greet before and a question and answer session to follow the film.

Sixteen Candles was Molly Ringwald's film, Anthony Michael Hall was just the geek who talked her out of her panties. After playing Farmer Ted, Anthony Michael Hall again co-starred with Ringwald, playing "the brain" to her "rich girl" in John Hughes' next little project, The Breakfast Club. (You may have heard of it.)
