Recall Issued In Michigan For Del Monte Canned Corn
More than 64,000 cases of canned corn have been recalled by the Del Monte Foods Inc. The recall was issued on Tuesday, as they say their 15.25-ounce (432g) cans of Fiesta Corn Seasons with Red & Green were recalled due to under-processing. Del Monte said these products were shipped to locations in 25 states in the U.S. and 12 international locations, according to WDIV.
Those states affected include Alaska, Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. Affected cans have a UPC number of 24000 02770 printed on the label and "Best If Used By" dates of Aug. 14,Aug. 15,Aug. 16, Sept. 3,Sept. 4,Sept. 5,Sept. 6,Sept. 22, and Sept. 23, all in the year 2021. Anyone with these cans is prompted to return them to where they were purchased from for a refund or to be exchanged.
