Massive Winter Clothes Drive Launched In Paw Paw
The Kalamazoo area has already seen it's first snowfall and on the day after Halloween no less. Even though this week of the 2nd of November through the weekend we will be seeing warmer weather, that's just about all the warmness we'll be seeing for the rest of the year. Winter is approaching quickly and now is the time that less fortunate people in our area are beginning to worry. the financial situation has been difficult for many families this year and Lydia's Clothing Closet is doing what they can to help those families.
They've already begun their 3rd annual "Operation Warm-up," a winter clothes drive that will hopefully bring some warmth to those struggling this winter. They offered all the details about pick up and drop off in a recent Facebook post:

Winter is coming! If you are clearing out cupboards or buying new items we would be pleased to take our clean and gently used items to give to others during our 3rd annual "Operation Warmup."
Mondays and Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. are great days to drop off items, or call the office on 269 415 0767 to arrange a different time.
