A new Bronson medical building has opened up on Gull Rd in Kalamazoo and will bring urgent care to those who don't have insurance or a high deductible. The new unit, which opened this week will cover Allergies, Athlete's foot, Camp physicals, Cold sores, Ear infections symptoms, Impetigo, Insect bites, Laryngitis, Minor burns and rashes, Minor sunburn, Mononucleosis, Pink eye, Poison ivy, Ringworm, Sinus infections, Sore throat, Sports physicals, Swimmer's ear, Upper respiratory infections, and Urinary tract infections (females only). They will also provide basic lab services like Monospots, Pregnancy test, Rapid strep, and Urinalysis (females only).

Patients must be 18 months or older to be seen and some age restrictions exist for select services. Bronson FastCare does not provide emergency care, on-site X-rays, stitches or treatment for broken bones. A Bronson FastCare visit will run you $69, including basic labs. The low cost is ideal if you have no insurance or a high-deductible insurance plan. FastCare accepts most insurances, and your office visit co-pay is determined by your insurance. All fees and co-payments will be collected at the time of the visit.
