Mishawaka Indiana Native Adam Driver From Marine Corps to Star Wars

We know him as Kylo Ren from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and HBO's Girls.  But did you know Adam Driver is from Michiana and a former Marine?

In June of 2016 Adam Driver spoke on stage at a Ted Talks event about growing up in Mishawaka, how and why he became a Marine and Arts in the Armed Forces, his nonprofit that brings theater to the military. Because, as he says: "Self-expression is just as valuable a tool as a rifle on your shoulder."

Star Wars: Episode VIII starring Adam Driver is currently in post-production.  Until then you can see Driver in his latest movie, Silence.
