Last year, I was a little skeptical after what was promising to be an awesome first Taco Fest. The long lines, the miscommunication between vendor and festival goer were something's not to be desired. But trial and error are a part of the growing process and I'm excited to say that Michigan's 2nd Annual Taco Fest is returning for 2020 from August 20th until the 23rd in Canterbury Village in Lake Orion, MI. Here's all the info provided thus far on their event page:

The 2nd Annual Taco Fest will be returning to Canterbury Village in Lake Orion for summer 2020 – once again welcoming thousands of guests for 4 days of TACO’S , strolling Mariachi bands, eating contests (taco / hot pepper), cutest chihuahua contest, Lucha Libre wrestling, mechanical bull challenge, monster truck rides, lawn games and family fun. Patrons will enjoy live music, dishes from 30 plus food vendors, a Kids Zone, and more!

Taco Fest will showcase an unparalleled selection of unique cuisine, food trucks, and Taco’s – along with a selection of adult beverages such as cervezas, margaritas (frozen options), palomas, specialty cocktails and over 40 tequilas to choose from. More than a dozen food vendors will be offering up mouthwatering fare that’s sure to please even the most discerning palate.

With a list of entertainment and contests as long as the food vendors, Michigan Taco Fest presents a carefully crafted entertainment lineup that’s fit for all ages. The event will feature some of the state and region’s most impressive local talent that will please any crowd!

Michigan Taco Fest is family-friendly, featuring loads of fun for all ages at the Kids Zone – including bounce houses, face painting, and so much more! Guests will enjoy hours of action-packed entertainment.
