Michigan Police Department Cancels Crime/Doing Really Dumb Things

With the terrible winter storm the state of Michigan is currently dealing with, so many businesses and schools have been cancelling operation hours so the public can remain safe from the snow and cold. Many other professions don't have that luxury. Those of us in radio, medical, day-care, and the police and fire departments still need to show up everyday. Perhaps that's why one police department in Michigan decided to cancel all crime.

The Lake Orion Police Department  made an announcement yesterday on their facebook, letting people know that they shouldn't have to worry about crime happening during the storm, stating: "Due to the extreme cold and heavy snow predictions all crime and doing really dumb things has been cancelled until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation." No word has yet to be released by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety regarding the plan to cancel crime and doing really dumb thinks in Kalamazoo.
