The U.S. Open Beer Championship has wrapped up for this year and they've announced their 2020 winners. There is good news for Michigan beers and breweries too. The state of Michigan brought 15 winners in 3 categories including Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

Breweries from Luxembourg to Louisiana sent in over 6,000 beers representing over 140 different styles to compete for the Gold.

According to the U.S. Open Beer web site, this competition is the only one to include beers from professional breweries and beers from gold medal winners from the National AHA Homebrew Competition.

Here's how our Michigan breweries did and the beer they entered.
