MI Ammo Shop Bans Masked Customers: Why We Can’t Have Nice Things

This whole year I've really tried my best. I've tried my best to understand people, to try and get why keeping yourself safe from a deadly virus is a political issue, why wearing a mask is somehow such an inconvenience for people that they get worked up and make public fools of themselves, instead of just putting on the dang mask. I don't wanna hear numbers, I don't wanna hear who it affects and how it affects them. Over 190,000 people are dead. If that isn't good enough for you, then really, really have an ego problem that's far beyond help.

Yet ANOTHER Michigan business has decided to go public with their unhappiness when it comes to the mask law put in place by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Recently an ammo shop in Novi, MI, Fenix Ammunition, posted the following message outside their doors and tweeted a picture of it to their Twitter page:

DUE TO THE NATIONWIDE RISE IN VIOLENT ATTACKS BY MASK-WEARING THUGS, WE WILL NOT PROVIDE SERVICE TO ANY PERSON WEARING A MASK. FURTHERMORE, THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS NECESSITATES POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION OF OUR CUSTOMERS. YOU MUST REMOVE YOUR MASK UPON ENTERING THIS PREMISES, OR YOU WILL NOT BE SERVED.

This is clearly a political statement made by their team as earlier in the week they also sent out another tweet from their page on July 10th saying, "We’ll never comply, and we’ll refuse to pay any penalty your illegal order attempts to impose." They comfortably refer to Whitmer as a "bitch." Classy. This virus isn't disappearing anytime soon and places like this are going to make it impossible for this virus to low down its rate of infection. Because regardless of what ammo shop owners think, this virus does spread very fast and it's very easy to pass it on.
