One of the best parts about living where I do is that I find virtually anything I need within 4 miles from my house. I've been on the prowl lately for a solid lunch spot for when I get out of work. Yesterday I ventured into the Main St. Pub on Gull Rd and it did not disappoint.

Their menu is stacked with almost any kind of meal imaginable. With selections ranging from flat breads, wraps, seafood, pasta, and appetizers... it was a hard choice. But I've heard nothing but positive raves about their signature burgers, so I had to give in.

I ordered the Smoked Gouda Burger that was topped with Sauteed Portabella Mushrooms, Grilled Red Peppers and Smoked Gouda Cheese. I paired it perfectly with an Arcadia Ales Jaw Jacker. This thing slaps. Not only was it cooked perfectly but there are a few things about the meal that stood out.

The drinks are very fairly priced. Considering craft brews are normally more on the pricey side as apposed to domestic brews, I found it to be very reasonable. Also, the fries and dipping sauce came at no extra charge with the meal. Very rarely do places not charge for extras like that.

If you are looking for a great spot in town with variety and a great family atmosphere, Main St. Pub is the perfect destination. I'll be back for those clams.
