After stealing their mother's car at 2:30 in the morning.  I know two kids that are SO grounded.

When I was 12-years-old, I would get in trouble for talking too much in class.  I guess I was a boring kid.  It never even crossed my mind to hop in my mom's car with a friend at 2:30 in the morning and go for a cruise.  That's what happened in Lorain, Ohio recently according to the Morning Journal,

An officer at about 2:30 a.m., observed a silver Honda driving west on East 28th Street with no lights on. The vehicle was also extremely close to the curb. The vehicle nearly struck two telephone poles and drove up on the curb before finally coming to a stop.

At first the driver lied to the officer about her age before her friend snitched.  Is it sexist of me to be shocked that both of the tweens are female?  I instantly assumed boys would be up to this kind of mischief.  Not girls.  I guess I need to get woke.

Both girls were given a summons to appear in juvenile court and the driver was given a traffic ticket.  Something tells me that their legal issues will pale in comparison to the sentence coming down from their parents.
