The Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team arrested a 23-year-old Kalamazoo man who they believe may be the one who supplied the drug which could be linked to a string of recent overdoses. Over the last few weeks, police had been investigating the man and once they identified him as a supplier after a heroin sale was made, they arrested him and then issued a search warrant at Concord Place Apartments in the 1300 block of Concord Place Drive, as MLive reports.

After searching the apartment, police found over 60 "user" doses of suspected heroin, marijuana, a large amount of money and more evidence which leads police to believe he could be linked to the recent overdoses. The man was then arrested for delivery of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, and maintaining a drug house. He was then sent to the Kalamazoo County Jail. The case is currently under review with the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor's Office.
