We are gathered here to pay tribute to a season which was to bring the hopes and wonder Autumn so magically brings every year. Sadly, it's life was taken away swiftly and brutally from us, as Winter decided it wanted to be extra "Michigan" this year. This was not  something we saw coming, although these patterns are becoming more and more of a problem. Where were our Autumn walks in the forest? What about warm cider and donuts? Shovels? Salt? How could we have known that lying in the weeds, Winter was ready to destroy the majority of the populations' favorite time of the year.

I'll always remember Fall of 2019 as the bright, young, hopeful mind, ready to take on any challenge it faced. But 6 degree weather is no feeble foe. I'll always keep the Fall spirit alive in my heart, especially as i'm shoveling 6 inches of snow off the driveway. I guess, the only thing we can do is continue to live our lives, one snowy day at a time, for Fall. Here is a remembrance video:
