I Made a Bet On The Cubs and Indians Game and Lost…Terribly.

Lebron James also made a bet on the World Series Championship and lost terribly.

The Chicago Cubs are World Series Champions for the first time since 1908.  They beat the Cleveland Indians 8-to-7 in Game Seven last night.   The Cubs were up 5-1, but the Indians came back, and tied it at 6 in the 8th inning.  The game went into extra innings, there was a RAIN delay and even after the Cubs scored 2 in the Top of the 10th, the Indians cut the lead in half in the bottom of the 10th.  But in the end, the Chicago Cubs came out on top.

I am a Cleveland fan and I made a bet with a Cubs fan during the World Series last night.  I watched the game at Harvey's On the Mall with my co-workers Mike and Whitney and Whitney's friend Chris.  I'm pretty sure I was the only Cleveland fan in the place.

Chris and I made a bet that if Cleveland won, he'd take me to the Japanese Steakhouse. and if the Cubs won I'd have to take him.  Welp, I owe him an expensive dinner because of ONE STUPID RUN.  Can you tell I'm still a little bitter?

Lebron James made a bet with Dwayne Wade and lost so now he has to dress in head-to-toe Chicago Cubs gear on December 2nd when the Cavs play the BULLS.
