Frozen Garage
As if fighting the snow storm wasn't hard enough, I trapped in it!First let me start by describing my garage. It's an apartment garage so it isn't attached to my actual apartment building. The only way in is through the actual garage door. As you know the temperature in Kalamazoo is only getting colder. So when I finally get home after fighting the snow and traffic, I go to park my car and..... No Go! MY GARAGE DOOR IS FROZEN SHUT!
How do you open a frozen garage door? I tried pounding on it hoping it would loosen it up, but that didn't work. Only made me look like a crazy guy pounding on a garage door in the snow! Here is what is recommended.
Things You Will Need
- Ice scraper
- Heat gun
- Hot water
