Dr. Phil, Insane Clown Posse, and Kalamazoo? You Have To See This.

I started listening to Insane Clown Posse when I was 12 years old. It was right when their platinum album "The Great Milenko" was released. Never in my life would I think that 21 years later, they would be on Dr. Phil acting as the voice of reason to someone who is damaging himself, his family, and his future with the financial hardships he is taking on chasing a failing dream.

Yesterday on Dr. Phil, the Insane Clown Posse, who hails from Detroit, Michigan were invited to the show VIA satellite to try and help guide a misguided artist who calls himself "King Krimson" to a better lifestyle. ICP Rapper Violent J, whose real name is Joseph Bruce explained to Krimson:

Your dream is definitely important, but not at the cost of all who love you. Not when it’s coming out of your wife’s hard work. What about her dreams, what about her happiness? You know what I mean? (Gnomesayin?)

Dr. Phil admitted that he's been "runnin with the hatchet" for a long time now, saying that he's been a long time fan. Violent J explained that it doesn't take a master artist of their music style to see that King Krimson is "seriously lacking in talent." Krimson explained to ICP that he's also been a fan of their music since the early 90's citing he would go to the Kalamazoo Warehouse to see them. Shaggy 2 Dope of ICP was blunter with his feelings towards the "Horrorcore" rapper:

You sound like s***, gnomesayin?

The take away from the show was that you should never give up on your dream, however, you do need to be able to provide while working towards it. Never sacrifice what you have for what you don't have. work towards both equally. Whoop Whoop!
