A dog saved a 12-year-old girl's life over the weekend.

It's every parent's biggest nightmare.  Just the thought of someone chasing down your young child and abducting them is difficult to deal with.  Luckily, the quick action of the family dog took a bite out of crime.

The driver of a maroon 1970's Ford pick-up truck allegedly chased the young girl up her father's driveway according to the police report obtained by WKBN.com,

As the girl started running away, the driver of the truck was met by the owner’s dog who managed to knock the driver to the ground.
