Dog Attacked Man Who Attempted to Kidnap Young Girl in Fairfield
A dog saved a 12-year-old girl's life over the weekend.
It's every parent's biggest nightmare. Just the thought of someone chasing down your young child and abducting them is difficult to deal with. Luckily, the quick action of the family dog took a bite out of crime.
The driver of a maroon 1970's Ford pick-up truck allegedly chased the young girl up her father's driveway according to the police report obtained by WKBN.com,
As the girl started running away, the driver of the truck was met by the owner’s dog who managed to knock the driver to the ground.
The suspect then ran back to his old pick-up truck and took off after the dog "got him pretty good." The Columbiana County Sheriff's Department is investigating this incident. Here's what we know now:

- The incident took place on Fairfield Avenue in Fairfield Township, Ohio.
- The suspect was driving a two-toned rust or maroon 1970's Ford pick-up truck.
