So many things are coming back, and one of them is charity basketball games.

The Branch County Deputy Sheriffs Association is set to play its annual Detroit Lions Basketball Game on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022. This game features past and present players up against local deputies from Branch County.

But the thing that will maybe even shock you is how big the Detroit Lions are. I saw a charity game they played some thirty years ago in Delton, and one player who stood out for his size was defensive lineman Robert Porcher. As one kid said, that's not a man, that's a mountain. The games are competitive and it's a great opportunity for kids to see their heroes up close and personal, and to get autographs.

According to a post on Reddit.com, some of the players who have played in these games before are the likes of Corey Fuller, Herman Moore, Cory Schlesinger, Corey Pierce, Brandon Copeland and Rob Rubick. The person posting said Moore played the entire game with receiver gloves on, and the Schlesinger looks likes he was in game shape, and the Corey Fuller looks to be in game-shape.

Here's some details about the game and the event: The game will bee at the Coldwater High School Gymnasium on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 7:00 PM. If you'd like to order tickets, here's the website.
