Revolution Brewing, Chicago top independent brewer, (Goose Island is now owned by Anheuser-Busch) is now available in Michigan. The brewer has cut a deal with M1, a group of MillerCoors distributors. and distribution began today.

Revolution's most popular beer is Anti-Hero IPA. That beer and Mosaic Hero will be the first beers to be distributed in Michigan.

It's a bit surprising that it's taken this long for Revolution to be sold here, given the founder's ties to the state.

“We are especially proud to bring our beers to Michigan because my wife Krista grew up there and that’s where we met during college,” said Josh Deth, founder of Revolution Brewing. “Michigan is where I brewed my first batches of homebrew and got hooked on beer culture." Josh celebrated his 21st birthday at Ashley’s in Ann Arbor while attending the University of Michigan. - M1 release
