If you love the beach, beer, or the combination of the two, this is the festival for you!

The Burning Foot Beer Festival is making its triumphant return this summer on the shores of Lake Michigan.

As reported by Mlive.com, the festival will be held in-person in August of this year. If, like me, you've never heard of or been to the Burning Foot Beer Festival this is what it's all about:

On their Facebook page, the Burning Foot Beer Festival is described as a celebration of craft beer brewed locally but also celebrates the beauty of the lakefront. As well, festival goers will be able to enjoy local music and food vendors.

When is it happening?

At this moment, the festival is set for August 28th at 3pm. However, on their event page they did stress that details are still being worked out. Considering how Covid has reshaped how we have to do every single thing, understand that things may change in the future. At this point they're still planning to have the festival at Pere Marquette Beach.

In the past, tickets to the Burning Foot Festival cost $50 ($55 the day of the event) and included 15 drink tickets and a drinking glass, at least according to their website. Updated ticket information will be provided as they confirm details like music line-up, etc.

Personally, I can't wait for the safe return of festivals. I never thought I would say it...but I really miss scenes like the one below, where people are packed shoulder to shoulder. Never in my life did I think that that would be the part that I missed

You can follow along on the Burning Foot Beer Festival's website or Facebook page for updates on ticket availability, music line-up, location and more.
