Broncos Open Post-Season With UNO; Dunn Waives Student Ticket Price

The 8th Ranked Western Michigan Broncos open post-season play this weekend at Lawson Ice Arena, against Nebraska-Omaha. And thanks to retiring WMU President John Dunn, student tickets are free.Hard to believe that this would be a thank you to the Lawson Loonies, but then again, the best cheering section in the country deserves something.

Games are scheduled for Friday and Saturday night, and Sunday, if necessary. All students need are a valid ID to get in.

This is the first time that Western has hosted a hockey playoff game. And it could be the start of something pretty special in the coming weeks.
