Black Business Expo Planned To Highlight Local Black Owned Businesses
As the progression of equality continues to grow in Kalamazoo, there are many new avenues to support black owned businesses or POC operated companies. Kalamazoo Flavor Menu is one of the best groups on Facebook right now that is all about inclusion and doesn't discriminate against businesses owned by POC and are friendly and supportive of the LGBTQ community. On the contrary, the group regularly highlights businesses or restaurants who stand for equality and are operated by POC and members of the LGBTQ community.
As we continue to stand by the Black community and support them in their demand for equal rights and treatment nation-wide, it's exciting to find out there is a business expo coming up which will feature Black owned businesses in the Kalamazoo area. An invite has been made to all, celebrating and showcasing Black Business in Kalamazoo hosted by Kalamazoo Counsiling Connection on September 26th at 225 W. Walnut from 1 p.m until 5 p.m.. The Black Business Expo will feature a network of aspiring and successful entrepreneurs, business professionals and creatives from various industries.
You can sign up to be a vendor here, and the costs are as follows:
