US Marshals are auctioning off a Batmobile, Back to the Future DeLorean and Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Saturday.

These three replica movie cars are 80's and 90's classics.    The U.S. Marshals are auctioning off a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice “Bat mobile," a 1959 Cadillac "Ghostbusters Ecto-1" and a 1981 DeLorean from "Back to the Future."

Those cars are pretty amazing.  You can page down to see more pictures of these classic movie cars.   So, why are they being auctioned off?  Because Ryan P. Sheridan, owner of those three cars and the Ohio based company Braking Point Recovery Center got in big trouble.  Sheridan was sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison and was ordered to pay over $24 million in restitution after he was found guilty of the following charges according to justice.gov,

One count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud, seven counts of health care fraud, one count of conspiracy to distribute Suboxone, twenty-two counts of use of another’s registration number of another to obtain controlled substances, one count of operating a drug premises, and twenty-eight counts of money laundering.

Wait a minute.  That guy did ALL of that and got less than 7 years?  There's a Michigan man who is currently 25 years into a 60 sentence for selling pot.  Something's not right here.  Sorry, I've digressed.
