Waldo becomes Wakanda! It might be the most excitement Waldo Stadium has experienced since the Cotton Bowl season. The WMU Football team and coaching staff will be a part of the crowd for a showing of the 2018 blockbuster Marvel hit movie "Black Panther" on an over-sized screen at Waldo Stadium.

It's a family event, with a chance to not only hang out with the football team but also participate in the "Outdoor Tailgate Games & Putt Putt Golf." That starts at 8pm, and then the movie will be on around 9:30 as it gets dark.

It's a part of Alumni Association's Bronco Night Out on Friday night, July 12th. The organizers suggest you bring your "picnic blankets to enjoy the movie from this rare and one-night-only vantage point." But they also caution you to maybe not bring lawn chairs, because lawn chairs won't be permitted on the field "due to potential damage they can cause to the artificial turf. Lawn chairs need to remain on the sidelines or on the first level of the stands."

If you're going, use Parking lot 10 at WMU on Oliver Street.
