Drag queens wearing fabulous masks are delivering food for a Michigan City, Indiana restaurant.

Offering delivery and curbside pickup may not be enough to keep many locally owned restaurants open during the Covid-19 pandemic.  That might be why Fiddlehead Restaurant in Michigan City decided to get creative according to ABC 7,

With the stay-at-home in place, many restaurants are offering curbside pickup and carryout options amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Fiddlehead Restaurant in Michigan City got creative and is using drag queens to deliver meals to its customers! "We just thought that the idea was a fantastic idea," said one customer after getting his food safety handed to him.

Alright, that's a fun gimmick during a time that we all need a smile.  Awesome.  What about the food?  Here are a couple recent reviews of the restaurant:

Here's a March 2nd, 2020 review on TripAdvisor,

REALLY GOOD FOOD
My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The food was really good. My only complaint is we came on a day when mimosas were on sale, however they didn't have orange juice (we did arrive shortly after they opened). However they did make me a creamsicle martini which required orange juice.

First off, let me start by noting how good the food is. The french fries are legitimately magic - they are so good. I had the shrimp tacos and opted for 3 (totally worth a couple of extra bucks to round out the meal). My husband had one of the burgers and demolished it. The margaritas were tasty (I had 2). This is a great place to stop whether you're looking for apps and drinks or a full meal.
