Sun, Surf and Sand is what the Blue Water Sandfest is all about!
Even though the snow and sleet is falling around us, is not too soon to make your plans for the Blue Water Sandfest. Coming this July 6th through July 8th in Port Huron is the State Sculpting Championships. Competitors from all over the U.S. and Canada come to build the most fantastic art from sand right off our Michigan beach!
With just sand and water these artist create absolute masterpieces and it is a shame they don't last for a lifetime! You and your family can enjoy a date of art while hanging out at the beach!

Yet, it is not just the Sandfest that Michigan is known for! Wikipedia.com reports that...
the world's record for the most simultaneous sand angles made at one time was done in Ludington, Michigan, on June 10, 2017. It was performed by 1,387 sand angel people at the same time!
