    Choose whole wheat toast instead of white bread, and brown whole grain cereal instead of the fun sugary stuff.  They help you sustain mental focus throughout the day way better than refined carbs, or skipping breakfast.

    Eat a big salad for lunch, and get your spinach on at dinner.  Two servings a day will give you the focus of someone five years younger.

    Gum

    A study a few years ago found that people who chewed gum were more alert than people who did the same task without gum.
