After several applications of toxic chemicals and herbicides, implementing heavy machinery and man-power, Western Michigan University has thrown up their hands and turned to an age-old gardener to help with their invasive plant problem; goats. Truly the definition of going green, putting hooves on the ground saves the university $400 a quarter acre, according to WWMT. Think about that for a minute; feeding goats saves $1,600 an acre.  It makes you wonder what took them so long!

Congratulations, WMU on a wonderful decision that is all at once cost effective, environmentally friendly, and super adorable.
