Grab the tissues...
26-year-old Abbey Frantz survived a horrific car crash in Battle Creek nine months ago. The SUV Abbey was riding in got slammed by a semi causing her to undergo TWENTY-NINE surgeries, and lose her left arm.
According to WWMT News Channel 3, she started going to Tigers games and has become a huge fan.
Abbey says the recent decisions by some pro athletes do not sit well with her.
During the National Anthem at a recent Tigers game, she stood up from her wheelchair!
"Even though I'm in a wheelchair, I'm standing up," she said. "No matter what, I will always stand," she said. "No matter if I get hit by a semi, I will always stand."
