These wedding crashers apparently didn't have the charm of Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.

Richland County Sheriff deputies responded to a call last Saturday night, about a wedding reception that got out of hand at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield, Ohio.

Two uninvited men arrived at the wedding reception like the movie Wedding Crashers.  However, unlike the movie, they weren't there with hilarious back stories, toasting the newlyweds and dancing the night away.  They were allegedly attempting to steal a case of beer.  That's when things got ugly.  The groom approached the wedding crashers, who have been identified as 22-year-old William Beeson and 29-year-old Justin Crowl.  Soon after a brief confrontation, Beeson punched the groom square in the face.  What happened next reminds me of stories my father used to tell me about fights at weddings back in his day.  Wedding guests jumped in to defend the groom and beat the tar out of the two alleged wedding crashers.  In the police report obtained by Fox8.com we now know the suspects side of the story,

The two told deputies they were at the fairgrounds for a horse show and were invited by a wedding guest.

OK, not exactly a solid defense.  The two suspects are currently locked up at the county pen facing charges of theft, trespassing and disorderly conduct.
