Come out and celebrate our community's veterans this weekend at the Air Zoo.

Veterans Day Weekend at The Air Zoo

Honor the veterans in your life by going to the Air Zoo for their Veterans Day Weekend (November 11th-13th)

Activities will include:

- Free admission for veterans and first responders.

- Discounts on purchases in the Kitty Hawk Cafe and Fly Buy.

- "Those We Honor" display with photos of local veterans

- Open cockpits with some historic aircraft. Sunday from 12-5 pm

- Out of Favor Boys to perform Sunday evening

- A silent "Moment of Remembrance" and luminaria display on Sunday with luminaria's available for purchase.

This is my grandpa Kenny.  He was a paratrooper in Vietnam and has some crazy and inspiring stories.  I always beg to hear more but he still has trouble talking about it.  Thank your veterans for serving our country and protecting our freedom :)
