A new 55,000-square-foot indoor adventure park, Urban Air Adventure Park, is planning a soft opening this Friday and a grand opening on Saturday. This fun-filled family park is expected to generate 120 new jobs, as it is taking over the old location where Babies-R-Us once inhabited in Sterling Heights, MI. According to Crain's, $4 million was invested into the entertainment center, located at 12050 Hall Road. They also plan to open an additional four Urban Air locations in Michigan by the end of 2021, so we could see one in West Michigan.

The adventure park will have attractions that are guaranteed to burn the energy out of kids, like a sky rider indoor coaster, ropes course, climbing walls, bumper cars, tubes playground go-cart track and a four-lane "warrior obstacle course." The adventure park will also have a full-service cafe, serving pizza, burgers, wings and more, according to Franchisee Wes Ayar. Day passes to Urban Air Adventure Park go from $13.99 to $29.99 and monthly memberships cost anywhere from $6.99-$36.99.
