This is Walt and He's Looking for His Forever Home

Say hello to Walt, a precious pup with a rather stately name. Walt is an older dog, maybe between 5-7 years old and is medium sized.

Clearly, he's a mix but it's unsure exactly what mix that is. He was incredibly friendly with us but, according to Katie Timber, reacts differently to each animal. Meaning that at her house he was cool with some dogs, some cats, but seemed to shy away from others. So, if you have other animals, they should definitely meet before you decide to adopt. However, if you're in a home with no animals and need an energetic ball of joy who's already house broken and has good manners, Walt could be the dog for you. I mean...look at this face.

With the recent Covid-19 restrictions appointments are now required to visit the shelter and unfortunately, for now, volunteer programs have been suspended. But, once everything is back to 'normal' volunteers will absolutely be needed.

As well, Katie made sure to point out that with the recent restrictions some families will be struggling financially. And that may include a struggle to buy food for their animals.
