This Is The Most Confusing Lane In Kalamazoo

I think for the most part, Kalamazoo has some pretty easy roads to navigate. Obviously, anytime you enter a downtown area that's a bit older you're gonna run into the one way streets that can be a bit confusing, like our Michigan U-turns. But there is one lane on a road here that has drivers a bit confused so I want to help clear any confusion to avoid almost being side swiped again.

This is W Kalamazoo Ave and S Westnedge. Now, a lot of drivers in the left lane (not the left turn lane to turn onto S Westnedge) think they can drive through the light and end up in the right lane making that slight left onto Michikal St. That's actually cutting us right laners off and possibly causing an accident. Those of us in the second lane have the option of continuing on W Kal OR making the slight left turn onto Michikal. Here's a diagram I made to clear any confusion. Stay safe out there:
