A supermoon is coming on Monday! It will be bigger, brighter and closer to Earth than any Supermoon we've seen since 1948, according to PopScience.  It's the closest pass in 70 years, and the next time it gets this close again will be November 2034.

The Supermoon will be closest to Earth on Monday, November 14th at 6:00 a.m. so that will be the best time to watch, assuming the skies are clear. To watch Monday’s Supermoon, you’ll get the best view from a “dark-sky” site like a state park or a national park.  However, most parks don't open until 8:00 a.m.

Another way to ensure a good view is to find an area away from bright lights.  Here is a map of "light pollution" with black being the darkest and red, the brightest.  According to the map, here are the top 5 best towns to watch the Supermoon in Southwest Michigan:

1.  South Haven

2.  Delton

3.  Saugatuck

4.  Colon

5.  Bronson
