A generous couple didn't bother with doing math at the end of their dinner.

Instead, they made it rain according to the New York Daily News,

Samantha “Sam” Meyer works at Mama Catena’s, a family-owned Italian restaurant in Euclid, a city located 12 miles northeast of Cleveland.  Over the weekend, she said that an out-of-town couple came in for dinner, and they left very happy with the experience.  So happy, in fact, that they left Meyer over $1,000 in two bills, which totaled around $120.

Fox 8 in Cleveland spoke with the waitress that received the $1,000 tip from a $120 dinner in the video below.

Samantha was certain it was a mistake.  She ran outside to catch the customers only to find out he left her the huge tip intentionally.  Samantha then shared the tip with her co-workers.  The employees of the Italian restaurant said the money couldn't have come at a better time.
