Six Feet Over is a brand that is responsible for some of the most caring individuals in Michigan. Mainly, they serve those who have lost their person to suicide by providing financial, informational and supportive services in the wake of their unimaginable loss. This Friday, they're hosting a fundraiser (follow link) which will showcase some of the best that Michigan, and the Detroit area, has to offer. The first hour of this intimate evening will allow guests to visit the many local small businesses housed within The Rust Belt Market. Later, guests will enjoy a performance by local legends, The Killer Flamingos, cited as Detroit's most popular party band; a Michigan-themed strolling dinner, beer and wine bar, souvenir photo experiences, digital raffle, and so much more.

Amelia Lehto, who works for Six Feet Over, describes her passion for this group of amazing people and their goals:

The work we do at Six Feet Over is some of the most meaningful work I've done in my career. I do a lot behind the scenes, though you may be familiar with it if your active on our Suck It Suicide page.

If you are unfamiliar with SFO/SIS visit our website sixftover.org which will fill you in. Namely, 2e serve those who have lost their person to suicide by providing financial, informational and supportive services in the wake of this unimaginable loss. Majority of our Board of Directors has lived experience with suicide loss, work in the field or are award winning directors. This gala is one of its kind and has been planned with fiery passion i.e. have you met Kate Hardy? She'll knock your little socks off if you let her. I am truly looking forward to this evening and hope to see you there.
