Warning, the video below is disturbing.  Tuesday night a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old girl were injured in a hit and run accident in Kalamazoo.  Help us find the driver.

According to Wood TV,

Both children were taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital. Wednesday, the boy’s condition improved from critical to stable and the 2-year-old was released from hospital.

The suspect vehicle is possibly a 2001 to 2007 Dodge/Chrysler minivan, possibly brown or burgundy. The father of the children asked 24 Hour News 8 to air the full video to help authorities find the suspect.

The police and family are hoping to find the driver of the mini van and Piper their pitbull (white with brown spots) that ran away during the chaos of the accident.

The father spoke with WWMT and pleaded for the person responsible to surrender.  Click here to see that video.

If you have seen Piper or have information on this accident please call Kalamazoo Public Safety at 269.337.8994 or Silent Observer at 269.343.2100.
