Every form of transportation is being effected in the Midwest due to weather

Due to the snowy conditions the Midwest has been experiencing, CNN has reported that an  American Eagle flight slid off the runway Monday morning at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. It is being reported that the cause of the near crash was due to the high winds and and snowy conditions.

The flight was coming in from Greensboro, North Carolina and had 38 passengers plus three crew members. American Airlines spokesperson Ross Feinstein, shared with the press that everyone aboard the plane was safe and in the terminal.

As the weather continues to deteriorate, so does the chances of you flying in or out of Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport. As you view the delays occurring, it is affecting many Midwest airport hubs.

So as always, a good rule of thumb is to call ahead and see if your flights are delayed.

Safe Travels!
