Yesterday in Plainwell dozen of people showed up for the 19th Annual Plainwell Bridge walk to not only enjoy the beauty of the city, get some exercise on their day off, but help raise money for public art!

WWMT reported on this positive event...

"We actually are an island city. We're surrounded by water because of the mill race, and because of that there are seven bridges here, so it's a nice way to see them all. Plainwell is a beautiful city," said Plainwell Arts Council Treasurer Cathy Green.

Each year, the walkers raise between $1,100 and $1,900 for the public art fund."

Seven Bridges were crossed and city came together! Cheers to Plainwell, I plan on attending next year!
