On a holiday weekend that is already chock full of fun things to do, this is another one, and it's on water, which with temperatures north of 85, is always a good thing.

The annual Palmer Lake Flotilla is on Saturday  evening (July 6th) begining around 6:30pm.

This year's theme is THROUGH THE AGES.  Decorate your pontoon, deck or fishing boat around the theme of a specific decade.  And, if you don't have a boat, get in on the Best Shoreline Performance and decorate your shoreline to the theme.  And if you just want to hang out on your boat, follow the parade so you can see the shoreline entries!!  There's lots to see and do!! - Palmer Lake Flotilla organizers

There's a bit of a Doo Dah feel to this, except with adult beverages added to the mix. The organizers offer up this phone number for a late entry or directions. Contact the Commodore, Tim Taylor, at 773-383-7892.
