They sure don't act like a team that hasn't done anything particularly significant in over 61 years.

I saw a tweet from the Detroit Lions on Monday trumpeting the sale of single game tickets. So I clicked on the link. And right there in big bold letters, "Detroit Lions 2019 Single-Game Tickets On Sale July 24." Today is May 20th. That's over two months away. For a last place team. That hardly anyone, except for wide eyed children, is excited about, for this coming season.

But I'll sip some of the Kool-Aid. Here goes. "Circle your calendars, friends. July 24th will be here before you know it. You don't want to miss out on tickets to exciting National Football League action at soon to be historic Ford Field." Ok, the Kool-Aid has worn off.

Here's the details you might want to know:

Single-game tickets for 2019 Detroit Lions regular season games at Ford Field will go on sale Wednesday, July 24 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available at DetroitLions.com/tickets.
